Once the installation is finished, you can boot up the game and log into either your Microsoft or Mojang account - whichever one is associated with your "Minecraft: Java Edition" purchase. After it finishes, type "sudo apt-get install libsecret-1-0" and tap enter, then "Y" and enter one last time.Īt this point, you should be ready to install and play "Minecraft," which is as simple as double-clicking the b file in your Downloads directory, then allowing Linux to install it on your Chromebook.
